Life Science Learning Lab
In the Life Science Learning Lab “Gläsernes Labor” visitors can carry out fascinating genetic and cell biological experiments, experience research in action and explore current applications in medicine and biotechnology. Every year about 10,000 middle and secondary students make use of over 500 lab courses for carrying out simple genetic experiments. Interactive models and animations add to the lab courses. Events and lab courses target the general public as well as lab personnel and scientists. In addition, the Life Science Learning Lab offers certified advanced training courses to teachers, journalists and lab personnel and scientists from research institutions and biotech companies. Since the Life Science Learning Lab is part of the Innovation and Incubation Center of the Campus especially young companies can use its lab and conference rooms on reasonable terms for events and presentations.

Beside this the renovated historic building also serves as the Infocenter of the Campus - the central meeting point for visitors and guests.
